Deja Vu by sparkling-mica Deja Vu by sparkling-mica
Just wanted so much to draw a BJD-doll.
I finally bought a normal opaque white pen, the one I had before was so transparent and I had to put many layers =___=
I was listening to Ali Project songs while drawing this. They're my favourite music band for about 5 years :la:

Hi there!

The vision is amazing of this piece! The red ribbons are really jumping out! I really love the many details in this drawing! Also the border is so nice, with a nice 3d effects with some things which are infront of the border! Nice work! I also like the kinda creepy painting on the wall. You only see a hand, and it makes you curious of what the painting is like.
Her face is nice done, love the one bruised ( is it bruised?) eye! Makes it even more mysterious.
I think this drawing is really original. I also use music as my inspiration^^ Ali Project is amazing for doll drawings!
Also I love her cute lolita dress! The white colour really stands out a lot!

The only thing I don't think is very good, is her hair. It's more like 1 thick object. I would recomend to draw more differeent hair parts, more space between them ^^ .

About the background: It's just in one word amazing! All the details and pieces . Just so good! I find the 2 other dolls very awesome with the sack around their heads. Makes this picture also a bit scary. Really amazing work on all the details! The colouring and the shading is amazing, great done and well everything fits together perfectly.

This is an wonderful piece! Great job!

The only reference is my imagination :D
Music helps me often, though.

I've never really understood that concept, how listening to or looking at another piece of art could inspire someone to create a new one. Doesn't it make sense to think it's a variation of the original piece rather than a whole new piece on its own...damn i'm terrible at asking questions.Okay, what I'm trying to say is how are you creative, when did you become creative. How are you inspired to become creative through music or any other form of art. Do you spend hours frustrated writing down and sketching ideas that don't quite fit until you find the one that does? Sorry to bother you with all the questions but every time I see a piece from your gallery I can't help but wonder....Am I just awfully or is the world just incredibly beautifully varied

Whatever it is, picture or music, everyone gets it in their own way and perceives it differently. I don't think that such pieces are variations, ideas that are inspired by another things mix with artists’ own thoughts, mood and associations and sometimes it can turn into something really different. Ideas of my drawings come quickly, but often I don't have enough time to implement them, unfortunately.
You don't bother me at all, I don't mind answering questions :D
